In Vitro Control of Multidrug-Resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae Infection by Some Biocides used in Erbil Hospitals

Aim: Screen the multidrug resistance Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates which is main causative agent of nosocomial infection in Erbil hospitals. And monitoring effectiveness some most widely used biocides our hospitals on these and select effective one to be control Methods: This study included 81 klebsiella spp. were collected from different clinical specimen City 1August 1 November 2021. Susceptibility against 50 was assessed for 10 antibiotics by disc-agar method ten cup plate agar diffusion method. Results: From (81) only (%62) pneumonia. There 2(4%) not biofilm producers 48(96%) as producers. Their antibiotic profile showed all (% 100) Ampicillin, while (%74) susceptibility Imipenim Meropenim (%57.1) ciprofloxacin. Also, Statistical analysis that higher lower mean biocide Virkon Alcohol- Base 51.54mm 12.91mm respectively. Conclusion: Our observations imply side bacteria increase ability resist biocides.
